About Yvonne Mbanefo

I'm a London-born, Nigerian-raised cultural consultant specializing in DEI story strategy and cultural authenticity.

My intersectionality as an Igbo woman, Nigerian, West African, and Black British, combined with living in London, a melting pot of world cultures, provides me with a nuanced understanding of diverse perspectives and cultural representation.

From University Lecturer to Cultural Consultant

After a career in university lecturing, I transitioned to cultural consulting, leveraging my expertise in digital media, cultural heritage, history, and education. My work focuses on using technology and storytelling to foster cultural intelligence across societies.
